The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, ignites a standard of excellence for business education accreditation through student Involvement and achievement, innovative curriculum development and research-based teaching methods, as well as setting accreditation standards based on the Baldrige Education Criteria for Performance Excellence.ACBSP accredits business, accounting, and business-related programs at the baccalaureate, master, and doctorate degree levels worldwide.

The ACBSP Model of Excellence.

ACBSP provides a set of standards and criteria to assist ACBSP associate degree member institutions in achieving excellence in business program education.

  • Through a process of self-study, on-site visitation, and assessment, business units can demonstrate their commitment to serving students, other institutions, and industry.

Global Academy of Finance and Management (GAFM)

For more than 10 years, ACBSP and GAFM have benefited from a mutual articulation agreement. The current agreement between ACBSP and GAFM International Board of Standards states: All ACBSP baccalaureate/graduate degree schools that have attained accredited status will be officially recognized by the GAFM with an educational and degree path toward certification eligibility. ACBSP accredited business school programs are recognized as GAFM eligible programs for the GAFM Master Financial Planner (MFP) designation and other credentials listed at GAFM.org.
