2018 Associate Degree Forum

Community and Technical Colleges are undergoing massive transformation. Budgets are shrinking, vacant full-time faculty positions are being replaced with adjunct faculty, and existing faculty are expected to do more with less in an environment that is becoming more competitive.

Associate degree schools must re-tool to meet the new realities of this changing landscape. How do you rise above the competition? What sets you apart in the eyes of prospective students? What innovative solutions are you offering to prepare your students for continuing their education or starting a career?

We invite you to attend a free event that seeks to answer these questions. The ACBSP Associate Degree Forum will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel in Irving, TX.

Topics To Be Covered

  • Effectively securing articulation agreements with four-year schools
  • The benefits of accreditation for associate degree schools
  • The potential impacts of recently proposed legislative actions on associate degree schools
  • Connecting with a community of associate degree schools that share your challenges and find solutions through shared best practices

In addition, this is an Open Forum where your collective associate degree voices can be heard. We want to know the challenges you face. We want to know what's important to you.

A preliminary agenda is available below.
