2018 ACBSP Access Accreditation Workshops

Are you preparing for ACBSP initial or reaffirmation of accreditation and need assistance with the information needed or where to begin? ACBSP invites you to attend our workshop that gives you full access to the ACBSP accreditation process.

This intensive three-day seminar, will cover the standards and criteria in detail with presentations by ACBSP accreditation staff and ACBSP members with business programs accredited by ACBSP who have developed best practices for each standard. Schools interested in pursuing candidacy, in candidacy, or seeking reaffirmation of accreditation will also be provided with in-class time to review a specific criterion within each standard using the online reporting portal.

Registration Details

Sept. 27-29, 2018

The registration fee is $600 (USD) per attendee. This includes:

  • Lunches on 2 days
  • Continental Breakfasts on 2 days
  • Refreshment Breaks
  • Electronic/printed copies of materials

Attendees are required to bring their own laptops, netbooks, or tablets for exercises. ACBSP will not provide mobile devices for attendee usage. Complimentary WiFi will be available at the workshop.

Seating for the workshop is limited to 45 people. Payment must be made at the time of registration or you will not be registered.

There are multiple hotels that are within walking distance to Gardner-Webb University. With all of the options, we do not have a hotel room block. When calling the hotels, mention you are attending an event at Gardner-Webb University in order to receive special pricing.


Attendees are responsible for their own airfare and ground transportation outside of what is provided.

Gardner-Webb University will provide airport transportation to and from the Charlotte airport for all participants. Once you have registered for the workshop and made your travel arrangements, please send an email indicating arrival and departure times, airline and flight number to Diana Hallerud at at least two weeks prior to the workshop. Gardner-Webb may not be able to accommodate late requests for transportation to and from the airport.

The closest international airport is Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). If you choose not to use or cannot use Gardner-Webb's shuttles, several ground transportation are available.

Refund Policy

ACBSP must receive a written notice of cancellation by September 11, 2018 for a full refund to be given. Fees will be refunded in the same manner in which the original form of payment was made. NO REFUNDS will be made for registration cancellation beginning September 12 and all amounts owed must be paid. No-shows are not eligible for a refund. Substitutions can be made at any time without penalty. Cancellations may only be submitted via email to
