Report of the ACBSP Nominating Committees

Under the provisions of the ACBSP Bylaws, this is the official notice, as corrected, of the Report of the Nominating Committees for the ACBSP Board of Directors, Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Commission, Associate Degree Commission, and Accreditation Governance Board. We do appreciate the interest of all candidates for open positions on the four boards.

Elections for Officers and Directors of the Board of Directors and for the Accreditation Governance Board will be held at the Annual Business Meeting of the Council at 3:00 PM-CDT on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at the Hilton Americas-Houston, 1600 Lamar St., Houston, TX. Elections for the Commissions will be conducted during the respective Commission meetings at a day and time as posted during ACBSP Conference 2019 in Houston, TX.

As permitted by the Council Bylaws, any interested candidate may petition as a write-in nomination for consideration by the membership. No nominees may be made from the floor during the business meeting. Any write-in nomination(s) must have signatures from at least five percent (5%) of the total membership eligible to vote for that office and must be submitted by Wednesday, May 1, 2019, to Jeffrey Alderman, ACBSP President/CEO, at jalderman@acbsp.org. For more information on the nominating and balloting procedures, please call the ACBSP Headquarters at +1 (913) 339-9356. Complete biographical information of each candidate will be published in the spring issue of the ACBSP Impact magazine and emailed to all ACBSP members in late April or early May.
