Keynote Address: Business Forensics

Stephen Pedneault brings over twenty-five years of public accounting experience and is the Principal of Forensic Accounting Services, a company that focuses exclusively on forensic accounting, fraud, and litigation support matters. He has authored four books on fraud in the business environment. He will discuss the latest developments in business forensics and how to incorporate them into your classes.

John Fretts has over thirty-five years of law enforcement and corporate experience including computer forensic investigation. Currently, he is President of Connecticut E-Discovery, where he conducts digital forensic examinations of computers and mobile devices including cell phone, tablets and other digital devices used for data storage. He will discuss computer forensics in business and provide a hands-on demonstration of how to recover “deleted” information.

Panel session: Helping Our Veterans Succeed in Higher Education

Students from both the Community College and University environments who have transitioned to college from the armed services will share their experiences and offer advice on how we can help them succeed not only in this difficult transition to college, but also in the transition from college back to the workforce.
