This naming opportunity was established in honor of J. Randall (Randy) Nutter, who passed away in December of 2011. Randy taught at Liberty University for 11 years and was professor and chair of the Business Department at Geneva College for 16 years. He also taught at Southeast University of Nanjing, China for several years. Randy was a valued and active member of the ACBSP community and volunteered for a number of leadership positions, including chair of the Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners, (2002-03) and secretary for the Board of Directors (2010-11). Randy was named an ACBSP emeritus member upon his retirement from teaching.
The J. Randall Nutter Naming Opportunity was established in late 2012 as part of the Honoring Our Colleagues program and aims to raise $7,500 to secure Randy a naming opportunity in the ACSBP home office. A chair in the ACBSP home office conference room will be dedicated to Randy in honor of his commitment to the mission and values of ACBSP.
