Executive Officer

Jeffrey AldermanJeffrey Alderman (, President/CEO, joined ACBSP in February 2015 coming from the Kansas City Kansas Chamber of Commerce. In addition to his work at the Chamber, Jeff brings an extensive background in association management including serving as executive director of the Kansas Bar Association, the Camden County (N.J.) Bar Association and was the assistant executive director of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association. He also served as vice president for Visit Topeka, a destination marketing organization. Steve ParscaleSteve Parscale (, Chief Accreditation Officer, joined ACBSP in 2004. Steve has a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management from Northcentral University in Prescott, Arizona. He also has a Master of Science in Management degree and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management degree from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. Steve has two associate degrees -- an Associate of Applied Science degree from Butler Community College and an Associate of Applied Science degree from the Community College of the Air Force. Diana HallerudDiana Hallerud (, Associate Director of Accreditation, joined ACBSP in September 2003. Previously, she was a Research Analyst for the Missouri Occupational Information Coordinating Committee (MOICC) for 6 years. Prior to that, she worked as a Research Secretary for Institutional Research at Central Missouri State University. She holds a bachelor's degree in Management and Human Relations from Mid-America Nazarene University and a master’s of Business Administration from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. Since joining ACBSP, she has also served as a state Baldrige Examiner for the states of Kansas and Washington as well as serving on numerous ACBSP site visits. 

Cari HunzikerCari Hunziker (, Accreditation Coordinator, joined ACBSP in February 2015. She previously worked as a customer service representative/social media manager for Born and raised in Fort Scott, Kansas, she now lives in Drexel, Missouri with her husband and two elementary age children and is heavily involved in their activities.  She is the Vice President of the Drexel Public School Foundation, which raises funds and helps to provide scholarships and teacher grants for supplies not provided by the district. In her spare time she enjoys running and weight lifting, as well as traveling with family and friends.

Shetauja CoburnShetauja Coburn (, Accreditation Coordinator, joined ACBSP in November 2015. Shetauja is a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University, where she received her BS in Office Administration/Business Administration. Shetauja is also a graduate of Strayer University, where she received her MBA in Human Resources Management. She brings over 7 years of Higher Education experience to ACBSP. Her goal in life is to help as many people as she can succeed in being great. In her spare time she loves to travel, spend time reading, playing with her toy shih Tzu Oreo, and feeding the less fortunate. Shetauja has been married to the love of her life for 9 years, Mr. Ervin Coburn a positive Certifying Scientist at Quest Diagnostics. They met at Mississippi Valley State University and the rest is history.

Latin American Operations

Wilfredo GiraldoWilfredo Giraldo (, Ph.D, Director of Latin American Operations, joined ACBSP in September 2013, and is based in Lima, Peru. Giraldo studied Industrial Engineering at the National University of Engineering. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Applied Science Peruvian University Business School and a Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance from the Graduated School of San Martin de Porres University, Lima, Peru. Member Services

Mary RileyMary Riley (, Director of Administration, joined ACBSP in October 2002. Born and raised in Kansas was previously employed with Coca-Cola Fountain Sales as the Assistant to the Comptroller. Mary is currently working on her Associate's Degree in Accounting and will continue with a Human Resource degree.

Melinda DorningMelinda Dorning (, Director of Marketing & Communications, joined ACBSP in October 2008. Melinda has lived in the Kansas City area for 13 years, having come from Birmingham, Ala. where she was born and raised. While in Birmingham, Melinda was public relations coordinator for Eastern Health Systems, Inc. and later public relations director for the American Red Cross, Birmingham-area chapter. She also did freelance work for Southern Living magazine and for AmSouth Bank. She earned a B.A. in mass communications with a specialization in public relations from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1987. She is a member of the Kansas City Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

Carmen HayesCarmen Hayes (, Member Services Manager joined ACBSP as its Member Services Manager in April 2015. She comes to the organization with more than 15 years’ experience in the banking industry as well as work within the non-profit sector. She most recently served as a Client Relationship Manager at UMB Bank. Her educational background is in Bilingual Education and she is presently working on a degree in business administration. She has a passion to serve including involvement in numerous charitable organizations such as Connections to Success/Dress for Success Kansas City. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, spending time with her daughters, traveling with family and friends, and “dinner and a movie” with her husband.

Sherry WilliamsSherry Jean Williams (, Manager of First Impressions, joined ACBSP in October 2004. Previously, she worked as an Executive/Administrative Assistant for HomePride Finance/CIT Group Sales Financing, Inc., for 22 years. Sherry, whose nickname is Peaches, was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She has one brother and five sisters. In her spare time, Sherry enjoys watching movies and hanging out with family and friends.

Giles RafolGiles Rafol (, New Media Manager, joined ACBSP in September 2005. Giles was born in Chicago, Illinois, and was raised in the suburbs of Kansas City, Missouri. He is currently attending the Metropolitan Community Colleges of Kansas City, pursuing an Associates in Arts. His interests lie in web design and development, social media, and collaborative web technologies. In addition, he's an avid gamer and self-professed "news junkie."

Maliha KhanMaliha Khan (, Digital Content Coordinator, joined ACBSP in December 2013. Previously she worked as a Marketing Manager at All Star Awards & Ad Specialties and various non-profit organizations. Maliha formerly attended University of Missouri - Kansas City for her Bachelors of Arts degree in Communication Studies, with an emphasis in Interpersonal and Public Relations. She enjoys doing freelance marketing & graphic design work, along with managing her part-time photography business Portraits By MK Photography. Maliha is a board member of the Social Media Club of Kansas City and enjoys researching the latest trends in digital marketing. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, coordinating local events, and mentoring youth.

Alison RobertsAlison Roberts (, Associate Degree Programs Coordinator, joined in July 2015. Alison is passionate about education and previously worked at Avila University as the Assistant Director of Donor Outreach. She most recently served as a Marketing Coordinator specializing in digital marketing analytics at ReeceNichols. Alison is a graduate of Hutchinson Community College and the University of Kansas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling with her husband, volunteering and crafting.

Danielle HendersonDanielle Henderson (, Conference and Meeting Services Coordinator, joined ACBSP in December 2015. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from Missouri State University in the area of Management with an emphasis in International Business Administration. Danielle also brings to the company almost 15 years of event planning and coordination experience. She has planned events for an independent school as well as corporate and non-profit companies. Danielle is also a partner with "A Special Occasion, LLC" which is a wedding and event planning company started in 2007.
