TO: All ACBSP Members
Each year ACBSP seeks to maintain services and to provide a new level of service requested by our members. Last year we announced our work with Lincoln Memorial University to conduct a salary survey of our individual members. As an individual member, we are requesting your participation as we enter our second year.
Please use the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ACBSP1314MSurvey. It is a very simple and easy survey. The first five questions ask demographic information with a sixth question asking your role as Faculty, Adjunct, or Administrator. The next page is five questions and will be used to compile the data based on your response to the sixth question. A final question offers you the opportunity to provide feedback. It is estimated you can complete the survey in less than three minutes.
A free executive summary will be made available after January 15, 2014. It will be available for download by members only and posted on our Web page devoted to the Salary Survey. You can go to that page now to download information from the 2012-2013 Salary Survey, including the Executive Summary and how to order the complete data set from last year.
Two significant changes this year:
- The survey this year only includes members from the United States. This is because of our experience last year due to low participation and currency calculations. The authors will work with the regions outside the United States to conduct individual surveys for their specific areas.
- NEW this year, we have added incentives for your participation including a drawing. One person will have a chance to receive a waiver of fees to attend either the 2014 Annual Conference in Chicago or the 2014 International Conference in Athens, Greece or a complete data set of the salary survey.
All information is strictly confidential. The survey is designed so you can provide feedback and enter the prize drawing, which is not linked to the data information you provided.
