Regional Councils
For membership purposes, ACBSP is geographically divided into eight
regions. Each region has a set of officers selected from the members in
that region. The officers begin their terms on July 1 each year.
All members of ACBSP are automatically a member of their respective
region and may attend events in any other region. There are no dues for
regional membership.
Some of the activities conducted by the regions in conjunction with
ACBSP are:
- Regional meetings conducted throughout the year provide networking and
educational opportunities.
- Teaching Excellence Awards are awarded in each region in the spring of
each year with each recipient eligible to compete with the recipients in
all other regions for the International Teaching Excellence Award.
- Nominations for ACBSP committees come from each region providing
access to leadership positions on the national stage.
- Many regions have committees providing involvement in important issues
affecting business education in your area.

this site often for updated information.
To request specific information on an upcoming meeting or activity,
contact the President in the region, the web site for the region, or the
ACBSP headquarters office.
