2011 Global Business Study Tour to Scotland On the eighth annual Global Business Study Tour, Lenoir-Rhyne’s Charles M. Snipes School of Business MBA and Senior students visited businesses in Scotland that had a commerce connection with the Hickory, North Carolina area. Thus, CMSSOB students were able to Connect Globally While Engaging Locally. On the 2011 Tour students visited GlaxoSmithKline, Andrews/CommScope, Whitelee WindFarm, Scotch Whisky Trade Association, St. Andrews Old Course Hotel, and GlenGarioach Distillery. These business visits followed the pattern which has been practiced for all of the previous seven tours which provide global exposure through company linkages and historical and cultural visits. For any questions, please contact A. Dale King, Ph.D. at king@lr.edu. Lenoir-Rhyne University is an Accredited Institution of ACBSP. Added/Updated on May 20, 2011. |
