  Faculty Exchanges

Welcome to the Faculty Exchange page! While it is titled Faculty Exchange, this suggests an exchange in faculty between a school outside the United States and a school inside the United States. This listing is more. This listing includes any opportunity where an ACBSP member school or an ACBSP individual member is seeking a teaching opportunity within the United States or outside the United States for a set limited amount of time.

The exchange opportunities are posted by ACBSP members using the procedure described below. As a visitor to this page please use this information to identify opportunities for you to serve in a location using the information provided.

Exchange opportunities may be posted by the business unit or an individual member of ACBSP may post the desire to serve in a faculty exchange. ACBSP provides membership for the business unit and the business unit in term enrolls faculty and others as individual members. There is no additional fee for this individual membership.

ACBSP will post the exchanges using information being provided. This information falls into two categories. In both cases the information can be submitted by contacting the ACBSP office, info@acbsp.org. Use in the Subject Line the words "Global Faculty Exchange - Available" or "Global Faculty Exchange - Seeking."

Seeking is typically posted by the business unit as it seeks a faculty member to serve in their location or to engage another business unit in an exchange of faculty. Some of the information to be provided includes the name and location of the institution, if an exchange of faculty is required or not, the teaching area being sought (such as finance or accounting), any special requirements (such as language fluency), the point of contact for more information, and the timetable (such as position starting in August 2008). A web link for more information can be provided or a text document in a Word format can be provided for creating a link on ACBSP Gateway for download of this information by interested individuals or business units. Please indicate a date for removal of the posting.

Available is typically for an individual desiring to be recruited to a faculty exchange. Some of the information to be provided includes the teaching area (such as finance or accounting), any special circumstances (such as language fluency or desired salary), contact information, and dates desired for the exchange (such as sabbatical during August 2008 and May 2009). A web link for where persons can find more information about the individual or a text document in a Word format such as a resume can be provided for creating a link on ACBSP Gateway for download of this information by interested individuals or business units.

An example of a Seeking and Available is provided below. For assistance to determine membership status or submittal of a faculty exchange, please call Sherry Williams or Giles Rafol at 913-339-9356.
