"In response to the development and investment plans of the state and region, Autonomous University of Aguascalientes is offering the Baccalaureate Degree in Production and Service Management, with graduates who are specialized professionals with a solid support in the administrative and technical area that allows them to be involved effectively in the different areas between engineering and management," said Zaida Antoinette Mora Alvarez, head of the Human Resources Department of the Center for Economic and Administrative Sciences.

Mora Alvarez said that about 86% of alumni are working in businesses and service organizations, being positioned in the areas of planning, production control, materials handling and assessment of suppliers in the automotive sector; in process management and quality in the textile sector; in quality assurance and production planning in the food industry and engineering sector; as well as in management and maintenance in the software development companies and government agencies.

This baccalaureate program of the UAA, certified nationally for its quality and internationally accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business School and Programs (ACBSP), has an integral curriculum that not only trains its students to determine and estimate time and production cost and services, but also has a focus on lean manufacturing and lean services, the definition of service systems (named “servuccion”), environmental management, security, certification, standardization and development of quality culture models, to name a few examples.
