Oral Roberts University Associate Professor of Management David Burkus was recognized in NerdScholar's 2015 edition of “40 Under 40: Professors Who Inspire.”
“I am honored to be included on this list as a professor who inspires,” said Burkus. “My favorite part about teaching is giving students a framework for understanding their experiences at work and to make better decisions in their future work. I hope that my teaching and writing about management contributes to a larger goal of making the working world better.”
Those included on NerdScholar's list of “40 Under 40: Professors Who Inspire” do more than teach. They leave impressions on the lives of their students and change the way they think.
Burkus earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2005 from ORU. He double majored in writing and organizational communication. In 2008, he received a Master of Arts in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Oklahoma. Burkus earned his Doctorate of Strategic Leadership in 2012 from Regent University.
