From a Nov. 14, 2015 press release out of Bengaluru -- The Indian startup ecosystem has really taken off and come into its own in the past few years. The ‘Digital India’ & ‘Startup India’ national initiatives have given a boost to the startup space. Startups are mushrooming exponentially with some reports projecting a rise from 3,100 startups in 2014 to more than 11,500 by 2020, making it a revolution rather than just a passing trend. While the excitement is electric, the need of the hour is to create ecosystems that help this revolution translate into meaningful growth for the upcoming Indian startups.
With an intention to create a startup ecosystem for B2B SaaS (Business-to-Business Software-as-a-Service) ideas, Amplifi and XIME have partnered to set up India’s first and only Amplifi-XIME B2B SaaS Accelerator at XIME’s Bengaluru campus. The B2B SaaS Accelerator will offer infrastructure, mentoring, shared resources, access to corporates, angel investors and VCs plus credits from partners & service providers for the entrepreneurs selected through this program.
This will be a 3 month long program for the startup founders chosen through a rigorous selection process. The selected startup founders will work out of the XIME campus for this duration with the goal to prepare each startup with a focused business pitch and a working or refined prototype.
The four pillars of the Amplifi-XIME B2B SaaS Accelerator are:
1. Global Perspective
2. Product Market Fit
3. Focus on execution
4. Speed and time to market
