Entrepreneurship Marketplace Meeting

Text Box: OVERLAND PARK, KS, USA (March 8, 2013) Douglas Viehland, Executive Director of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) www.acbsp.org, will join Dean Donald Carlson and Professor Linda Whitten from Skyline College in presenting a session on entrepreneurship during the Bay Area Community College Consortium Entrepreneurship Marketplace Meeting, March 8, on the campus of Chabot College.

The meeting will focus on the entrepreneurship offerings of both Skyline College and Cañada College, and will explore ways in which community colleges can infuse virtual enterprise into existing courses and programs. Viehland will explain the value of accreditation and the work ACBSP is doing to promote entrepreneurship offerings at all levels of business degree programs.

We are pleased to support the Bay Area Community College Consortium by participating in this meeting,” said Viehland. "We recognize the contributions by our accredited member, Skyline College, in sharing their experiences and innovations in bringing entrepreneurship to the forefront of their business curriculum.”
