Congratulations to the 27 ACBSP member institutions that achieved initial accreditation or reaffirmation of accreditation in 2010-11. Representatives from each of these schools were honored at an Accreditation Banquet held June 26 during the 2011 ACBSP Annual Conference in Indianapolis.
"These campuses have shown their commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process. The initial accreditation and reaffirmation of accreditation granted to these institutions shows their commitment to provide the highest quality business education for their students," said Steve Parscale, ACBSP director of accreditation.
ACBSP is the leading specialized accreditation association for business education supporting, celebrating, and rewarding teaching excellence. Established in 1988, ACBSP is the only business accrediting organization for all associate, baccalaureate, and graduate degree programs. In 2001, ACBSP was recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
ACBSP continues to grow, having recently added its 10th region to better serve member institutions in South Asia. There are currently more than 1,050 member campuses representing 531 different institutions, including 157 member campuses from outside the United States. ACBSP member institutions represent 50 different countries.
