Standards and Criteria Interactive Workshop for Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Schools

This workshop is designed for ACBSP member schools in candidacy, preparing for reaffirmation of accreditation, or those who are new to ACBSP and would like to increase their understanding of the ACBSP Standards and Criteria. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop or netbook with electronic copies of their business program documents as well as survey and assessment data summaries.
ACBSP accreditation staff and commissioners will provide a tour of the standard and criterion requirements for each standard. Following the review of the standard, participants will use their own information to respond to a specific criterion and can enter their information on the online reporting portal with opportunities for feedback for the accreditation staff and commissioners.
This is a two-day, two-part workshop, that begins on Wednesday, Nov. 2 and then resumes on Saturday, Nov. 5. Part 1 (Nov. 2) will cover Standards One to Four. Part 2 (Nov. 5) will cover Standards Five and Six. Participants are required to attend both days.
Lunch and refreshment breaks are included on Nov. 2. On Nov. 5, only refreshment breaks are included.
A session in English and a session in Spanish will be held concurrently. Attendees need only select one.
Due to space limitations and to ensure the best training experience, each session is limited to 30 registrants. A fee of $150 will be charged to cover printed training materials and the cost of meals and breaks. Certificates of completion will be provided for individuals who pre-register and attend the entire training. You must register for the for the full Conference and Accreditation Forum in order to register for either workshop.
Wednesday, November 2
The networking dinner offers an opportunity to join other attendees to share experiences in a social atmosphere. The cost is $80 per attendee, and includes cocktails during the reception prior to dinner, dinner, gratuity, and taxes. Registration is limited to 25 participants, including guests.
The venue is off-site at the nearby Porfirio's Restaurante. Drinks begin at 7:00 PM, with conclusion of dinner at 9:00 PM.
