INTERESTED IN BECOMING AN ACBSP EVALUATOR OR MENTOR?
ACBSP is one of three specialized accreditation agencies for business programs recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). To be an evaluator or mentor for the Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP) requires commitment and a high degree of ethics and integrity coupled with academic excellence and leadership. In addition, evaluators and mentors need to be well versed with the six standards of accreditation and be familiar with acceptable practices such as measuring stakeholder satisfaction and assessment of student learning.
You now have an opportunity to participate in a workshop in India! For the second time, ACBSP is bringing its Mentor and Evaluator Training Workshop to India to add value to the ACBSP accredited schools, its candidate schools as well as non-member Business Schools desirous of beginning the ACBSP accreditation process. All participants will receive a completion certificate from ACBSP. Future evaluator and mentor assignments are based on level of training, experience with ACBSP with priority accorded to accredited school members followed by participants in candidacy. The participants from non-member schools will receive a certificate of participation. In addition to the certificate, non-member schools receive information and knowledge about ACBSP accreditation to determine when they wish to enter the accreditation process for their business programs.
The two day workshop on August 27 and 28, 2015 is being hosted by and held at Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship XIME campus, Electronic City Bangalore. The workshop is being facilitated by SEAA Trust, New Delhi, formed in 2008 and the only such International Accreditation advocacy and facilitation organization in the world.
